Iranian director Shahram Mokri to judge at Chicago fest

Shahram Mokri, Iranian director, has been selected as a jury member of the 57th edition of the Chicago International Film Festival.

Today is the first day of the festival and Mokri accompanied by 4 other jury members will judge films in the main section.

13 films will compete in the main section five of which have taken part at Cannes festival previously. 5 out of the 13 films have also participated at Venice Film Festival.

It will take the jury members 8 days to decide which films are the best of all.

This edition of the festival will host 3 Iranian films and short films including ‘A Hero’.

The 57th edition of the event is scheduled for October 13-24, 2021.
